More retros in this weeks MLB update! The San Diego Padres New Era Fitted Hat is a custom that we did to replicate the player hat used in the 1999-2003 seasons. This hat is in team colors with a gray under visor with a white sweatband. The Tampa Bay Devil Rays custom retro New Era Fitted Hat is from the 2001-2007 seasons. This fitted completing the retro has the white sweatband with gray underbrim.

In 1998 the Arizona Diamondbacks were introduced to the MLB along with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays (that’s a story for another day). The D-backs are most notably known for their early success in winning a World Series in only their 4th season againest the evil empire known as the New York Yankees. The other most notably reason the DiamondBacks were popular in the late 90′s was their choice of loud colors and logos. The blacks, purples, aquas, and metallic coppers were associated with the Arizona Diamond Backs. During their the Inaugural Season they offered 4 different 59Fifty New Era Fitted Hats. Since you guys are always e-mailing requests for certain logos this week we will be bringing you two teams that everyone has been asking for. The first one is the Tampa Bay Devil Rays New Era Hat in a black top with a purple brim. The logo is in team colors. The other custom of the week is the throwback Kanas City Royals New Era Hat in their team colors with the black crown and royal blue brim. It will also have an American League patch.

This is the first article in a series of weekly ones I’m going to be writing. Basically what I’m going to do is just go in depth on logos and designs and the team themselves. Show the inspiration behind the designs and what goes on in the process.  Possibly, in the later articles give the readers a chance to have input on hats or vote accordingly. Also sneak peeks on products before they release, from the design phase all the way to production. This week is just gonna be this intro. Starting next week we’re going to go in-depth on a few of my favorite teams and their logos and popular logos, But as promised here’s a small sample of some hats that still haven’t release yet.
