We updating early. be on the lookout.
We updating early. be on the lookout.
Here are my personal favorites for this weeks update. Two very clean New Eras but still unique. The Vancouver Grizzlies hat will be in Graphite crown and purple brim. The logo will be team color with brown accents. The New York Islanders New Era Hat will be in navy and teal with the team color logo.
NHL New Era hats are probably one of our most in demand styles of hats. That is why we try and bring you as many as we possibly can. The Philadelphia Flyers New Era Hat will be in a very simple black gray and orange color-way. The New York Rangers New Era Hat will be in the black base with metallic silver. The logo will be gray red and white.
Well here is the logo everyone has been asking for. This will actually the last NICE New Era Hat we will have for a while. The final color-way for our weekly release will be a khaki crown and navy blue brim. The logo will be navy blue as well with a red stripe running through the middle. We have also received our New Era we made for the “Red Carpet” Lebron VIIs. This Cleveland Cavaliers New Era Hat will be in a black crown teal brim. The logo will be red with a thick white outline and teal accents.
We have finally received our shipment for the Air Jordan Piston 6s. This Minor League New Era will be in the same exact color of the sneakers. Black crown with blue brim and red under brim. The logo will also be blue with white and red accents. Also this week will be the Montreal Expos New Era Hat in all teal with white and black logo.
This Thursday we will be bringing you two new black based hats. One will be a Chicago White Sox New Era Hat in a black crown with red bill and white logo. The New Era will also have a red pinstripe pattern on the crown and a red outline on the logo. Also coming out this week with the Sox fitted is a Toronto Blue Jays New Era Hat in black, metallic gold, and red. The logo will consist of a red background and a black and metallic gold base with white accents.
Don’t you love when your co-workers convice you to do something stupid?
Rest in Peace Beard I will see you again in about 2 to 3 weeks.
Probably one of the most favorite and requested logos. Also one of the most recognizable logos. The San Jose Sharks logo is one of our best sellers. A few years ago with Ecapcity.com was first starting we began using the older San Jose Sharks logo at the time to push slowly in the NHL teams and just overall a different feel. Many years later and a team logo change the Sharks logos is still a fan favorite. I’m not sure if you remember but we were one of the first to post the new logo on a New Era Fitted a couple years back on the popular “Grape” colorway. The Sharks came about in the early 1990s when the NHL and Gund Brothers wanted to bring back the NHL to the bay area. The team name was supposed to be the “Blades” but due to fear that people would associate it with violence the team choose the 2nd place name of Sharks. I sometimes find it funny how a simple decision completely changes the outlook of a team. At this point and time we could be talking about the “San Jose Blades”, funny isn’t it?
Ecapcity.com will continue to release San Jose Shark New Era Fitteds. Recently we restocked on the Team Colors of it which always seems to sell out. Hopefully this summer we’ll have some more color ways available.
We just got “War Machine” New Era fitted Hats and this will be up soon.
59FIFTY fitted New Era is custom made with DC Marvel comic designs.
Eyes glow in the dark.
UPDATE IS UP NOW. Might be a little slow because there is a lot of traffic on our website right now.
Brian Jungen’s practice re-crafts prefabricated commodities into sculptural objects, proposing a dialogue between his First Nations ancestry, the global economy and the object of art. Jungen’s series of Northwest Coast-style First Nations masks stitched together from disassembled Nike Air Jordans (the Prototype for New Understanding series) puts forward a selection of souvenirs for collecting. In his manner of presentation and within the function of the objects themselves, Jungen engages in an institutional critique of the categories and histories of art institutions, museum practices and ethnographic display. His masks have no labels, save the Nike label, they are detached from any specific “people” and work to displace expected museological frameworks and contexts. In his reconsideration of tradition, Jungen challenges expectation in an anti-nostalgic fashion. Jungen’s Shapeshifter, a museological-style whale skeleton constructed from $4.99 white plastic patio chairs, is emblematic of his practice. The title “Shapeshifter” speaks to a changing and morphing set of categories and expectations from both a cultural and artistic standpoint. Jungen’s work recognizes the ubiquitous global economy as a basis for communication, even within cultures that have not traditionally been consumer-based. Jungen forges ahead with this mass-cultural material to create non-conformative objects representative of a hybridity that is at once cultural, personal and artistic, defying categorization. In recent works Jungen has in part confronted the loaded representational nature and form of these past works. Specifically it is the sculptural reference to the northwest coast mask and the whale skeleton, metaphors which inspire reference to the artist’s personal First Nation lineage, which continue to be confronted in his new body of work. Whilst works like Void and Variant 1 integrate the materiality of these past projects, the shifting of their formal references is ultimately apparent. Utilizing the loaded Nike shoes once again, along with new materials including Coleman coolers, the artist shifts the representational nature of those source references and proposes new meanings through more abstract reconfigurations.
A late Edition to this week’s update is this Louisville Bats New Era FItted Hat to match the Quick Strike Skunk Nike Dunk SB High. Their set to release on 4/20. Now considering there isn’t any Skunk logo we decided to use this “L” logo in different Shades of Green with a Hit of Purple in it. If you know what the skunk dunks represent then you know why we used an “L” logo. Happy 4/20 yall from Ecapcity.com.

The New York Rangers New Era Hat comes set in Black and Grey with Neon Yellow Accents. We’re dropping a Phoenix Suns New Era Hat in those same exact colors.
